Really enjoyed my stay with a local family, gave me a great insight into Sri Lankan culture. The hosts were incredibly friendly, and even prepared a complimentary breakfast for me each day. Room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony and private bathroom. Location was convenient, close to a good beach and supermarket, and easy to get to the city center.

The lack of flexibility with meal options, as dinner was not included in the room rate. However, there were some local restaurants nearby.

We had a memorable stay with a lovely family. Our host Victor and his family were hospitable and made us feel comfortable in the hotel. We enjoyed the great vibe and unforgettable conversations with the fluent English-speaking family. The hotel facilities include a nice swimming pool, good breakfast, and a comfortable room with necessary amenities - AC, hot water, balcony. This hotel is ideally located close to a very good beach and offers bicycles for a fun and enjoyable trip around the city.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, with a beautiful beach just a short walk away where we found an amazing restaurant serving fresh lobster. The service was top-notch, with room service, car hire, and dry cleaning available. The hotel was always clean and tidy, and the staff made us feel right at home. The amenities were excellent, including a spa and wellness center, swimming pool, and even entertainment like karaoke. We loved spending time in the garden area and lounging by the pool. this place exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to everyone!

The hosts of this hidden gem were amazing, super friendly, made us feel like home and were always available when we needed them. the location was perfect, near the center but still peaceful for a good night's rest. the breakfast was fantastic, with yummy and healthy traditional food. We also enjoyed the nice pool to refresh in after exploring the city.

Absolutely nothing to dislike about this experience, we had a fabulous city break and would have loved to stay longer. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic getaway with friendly and hospitable hosts.

The location is great and close to a lovely deserted beach with one good restaurant. It's also close to the city centre. We had a fun time on a safari arranged by the hotel. the room and bathroom were spacious, tidy, clean, and had comfortable beds. the breakfast was delicious and varied and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel lacks a few facilities that some guests may desire.
